StepUp offers a range of tools designed to strengthen curriculum, instruction, and assessment across Missouri. Many of our digital products include a sample or preview right on their product page. We do our best to provide screenshots or sample pages for nearly every resource, so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you buy.

We offer both digital and hard copy versions of our books. The $200 price reflects the hard copy version only. Digital products follow a tiered pricing model based on your school’s size and number of licenses.

Both versions include the same Missouri Learning Standards–aligned learning targets and instructional supports — the difference is how you access and use them.

💻 MATT Digital Tools provide interactive, searchable access to the same content online — with added features like filters by grade or strand, links to instructional examples, and integration with tools like the Curriculum Management Tool.

The MATT Books are organized by content area (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies), while the 4-Core Books are organized by grade level (K–5). Each 4-Core Book includes all four content areas for that grade.

Our living, interactive tools—Digital MATTs, INSIGHT, and the RSP Fast-Tracking Tool (RSP FTT)—are delivered as Google Sheets.

We use Google Sheets because they allow for:

• Real-time collaboration

• Powerful filtering by grade or strand

• Easy customization

• Version history and safety

• Low IT lift (no installs or special logins)

• Flexible exports for sharing or printing

No separate login is needed. As long as you’re logged into your district’s curriculum Google Drive, you’re good to go! We deliver all digital tools—like the Digital MATTs, INSIGHT, and RSP FTT—directly into your district’s shared drive.

While DESE resources informed the foundation of our tools, the MATT Books go far beyond what’s available online.

• Our team vetted every DESE-released item, refining and aligning for clarity.
  

• We added item specifications and assessment examples where missing.
  

• The left-hand side of each MATT uses Marzano-style proficiency scales, expanding Level 2.0 to show prerequisite skills.
  

Each book includes graphic organizers, anchor charts, and activity samples to support classroom implementation. You can view examples of these scales on our MATT Product Page.

All state-recommended priority standards are included in every MATT. In K–5 ELA, our team added a few additional foundational standards, clearly labeled as StepUp-recommended for instructional support.
